SUPPORT AND EDUCATION - THE FACIAL PAIN ASSOCIATION OFFERS MEMBERSHIP PROGRAMS TO FAMILIES, INDIVIDUALS AND MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS. PATIENTS AND MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS ARE PROVIDED ACCESS TO THE ASSOCIATION'S WEBSITE AND VARIOUS EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS. THIS SERVICE ALLOWS PATIENTS TO BECOME EDUCATED ABOUT THEIR CONDITION, AND TO BE INFORMED ABOUT TREATMENT AND RESEARCH EFFORTS. THE ASSOCIATION ALSO CONNECTS PATIENTS WITH MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS THAT HAVE EXPERIENCE IN DIAGNOSING AND TREATING FACIAL PAIN DISORDERS AND VARIOUS SUPPORT GROUPS.
