THE MORAVIAN HALL SQUARE HEALTH AND WELLNESS CENTER IS A 61 BED LICENSED NURSING CARE FACILITY. TWENTY-FIVE ROOMS ARE PRIVATE AND EIGHTEEN ROOMS ARE SHARED, TWO PERSON SUITES. ALL BEDS ARE DUALLY CERTIFIED TO PARTICIPATE IN MEDICARE AND MEDICAID PROGRAMS. FOR SERVICES RENDERED, THE NURSING CARE CENTER ACCEPTS PRIVATE FUNDS AS WELL AS REIMBURSEMENT FROM LONG-TERM CARE INSURANCE PLANS AND PRE-CONTRACTED HEALTH MAINTENANCE ORGANIZATIONS. THE STAFF IS COMPRISED OF SKILLED PROFESSIONALS WHO PROVIDE A FULL RANGE OF RESIDENT SUPPORT SERVICES INCLUDING NURSING ACTIVITIES, PHYSICAL, OCCUPATIONAL, AND SPEECH THERAPIES, SOCIAL SERVICES, SPIRITUAL COUNSELING, AND DINING SERVICES. A VARIED CALENDAR OF ACTIVITIES INCLUDES: LECTURES, FILMS, TRAVELOGUES, EXERCISE CLASSES, ARTS AND CRAFTS, WORD AND BOARD GAMES, MEMORY IMPAIRED ACTIVITIES, MUSICAL PERFORMANCES, HOLIDAY CELEBRATIONS, AND CHAPEL SERVICES. A CHAPLAIN IS AVAILABLE FULL TIME TO MEET RESIDENTS' SPIRITUAL NEEDS THROUGH INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING AND SPIRITUAL PROGRAMMING. SOCIAL WORKERS ARE AVAILABLE TO ASSIST EACH RESIDENT AND HIS/HER FAMILY OR RESPONSIBLE PARTY IN ALL ASPECTS OF ADMISSION, MEDICAL CARE ARRANGEMENTS, FINANCIAL PLANNING AND REFERRALS TO EXTERNAL PROFESSIONALS AND PRACTITIONERS. AN INDIVIDUALIZED CARE PLAN FOR EACH RESIDENT IS DEVELOPED WITH INPUT FROM ALL MEMBERS OF THE CARE GIVING TEAM, INCLUDING THE RESIDENT AND FAMILY MEMBERS. MORNINGSTAR SENIOR LIVING PROVIDES THREE DIFFERENT STYLES OF PERSONAL CARE ON ITS CAMPUS. LICENSED AS PERSONAL CARE BY THE COMMONWEALTH OF PENNSYLVANIA, MORNINGSTAR SENIOR LIVING OFFERS 28 PERSONAL CARE APARTMENTS; 33 PERSONAL CARE SUITES; AND 25 PERSONAL CARE PRIVATE ROOMS LICENSED FOR SPECIALIZED DEMENTIA CARE. ALL THREE AREAS ARE HOUSED IN THREE INTER-CONNECTED BUILDINGS.IN ALL THREE PERSONAL CARE AREAS, TRAINED PERSONAL CARE ASSISTANTS AND LICENSED NURSES ARE ON DUTY 24 HOURS PER DAY, 7 DAYS PER WEEK. ADDITIONALLY, IN ALL PERSONAL CARE LIVING AREAS, RESIDENTS, FAMILIES, AND RESPONSIBLE PARTIES ARE ENCOURAGED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF A COMPREHENSIVE PLAN OF CARE. THE RESIDENTIAL LIVING APARTMENTS ARE LOCATED IN THREE CONNECTED BUILDINGS, EACH FOUR STORIES HIGH. THERE ARE THREE BASIC SIZES OF RESIDENTIAL LIVING APARTMENTS: STUDIO, ONE-BEDROOM, AND TWO-BEDROOM. THE 128 APARTMENTS ARE COMPRISED OF 44 ONE-BEDROOM UNITS, 56 TWO-BEDROOM UNITS, 12 STUDIOS, AND 16 CUSTOM APARTMENTS. THESE APARTMENTS RANGE IN SIZE FROM 430 SQUARE FEET TO OVER 1,200 SQUARE FEET. THE RESIDENTIAL APARTMENTS AND THE HEALTH CARE AREAS ARE HOUSED IN INTER-CONNECTED BUILDINGS WHERE MANY COMFORTABLE COMMON SPACES AND RECREATIONAL SPACES ARE LOCATED. THE MORAVIAN TOWNSTONE RESIDENTIAL BUILDING AT 117 WEST NORTH STREET IS A CONTIGUOUS PROPERTY TO THE MORAVIAN HALL SQUARE CAMPUS. THE MORAVIAN TOWNSTONE BUILDING HOUSES FOUR, TWO-BEDROOM RESIDENCES. THREE OF THE FOUR UNITS ARE CURRENTLY OCCUPIED; THE FOURTH IS BEING USED AS A MODEL. THE TOWNSTONE BUILDING INCLUDES TWO STORIES ABOVE GROUND OF RESIDENTIAL LIVING SPACE ALONG WITH A BASEMENT LEVEL BELOW GRADE FOR GARAGES AND STORAGE. THERE ARE TWO RESIDENCES PER FLOOR, WITH EACH UNIT CONSISTING OF APPROXIMATELY 1500 SQUARE FEET OF LIVABLE SPACE.
