COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROGRAM - SSHH SERVES 32 CITIES AND TOWNS SOUTH AND SOUTHWEST OF BOSTON. THIS PROGRAM PROVIDES INFORMATION TO RESIDENTS IN OUR SERVICE AREA ABOUT OUR MISSION, PROVIDING OPPORTUNITIES TO FAMILIES FOR THE HOUSING PROGRAM, AND RECRUITS AND MANAGES VOLUNTEERS FOR THE HOME BUILDING PROJECTS.
FAMILY HOUSING PROGRAM - THIS PROGRAM EDUCATES FAMILIES ON FINANCIAL LITERACY AND HOME OWNERSHIP AND SUPPORTS THE CONSTRUCTION OF AFFORDABLE HOUSING UNITS. THIS YEAR 1 NEW HOME WAS COMPLETED, LOCATED AT 10 ELECTRIC AVENUE IN EASTON AND CONSTRUCTION BEGAN ON 1 NEW HOME AT 5 HIGHVIEW STREET IN WESTWOOD.
MORTGAGE PROGRAM - SSHH PROVIDES ITS FAMILIES WITH A 30 YEAR AFFORDABLE MORTGAGE AND MANAGES THIS MORTGAGE PORTFOLIO ON AN ONGOING BASIS. SSHH CURRENTLY SERVICES 25 MORTGAGES UNDER THIS PROGRAM.
