MORRISTOWN UNITARIAN FELLOWSHIP IS A LIBERAL RELIGIOUS ORGANIZATION THAT ADHERES TO THE 7 PRINCIPLES OF THE UNITARIAN UNIVERSALIST ASSOCIATION. THE FELLOWSHIP PROVIDES WEEKLY SERVICES AND RELIGIOUS EDUCATION. THE FELLOWSHIP ALSO PROVIDES PASTORAL CARE MEMORIAL SERVICES BABY DEDICATION AND WEDDINGS.

WORSHIP SERVICES ARE HELD EVERY SUNDAY AND ON RELIGIOUS HOLIDAYS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. SUNDAY MORNING SERVICES ARE AN ENCOUNTER THE MYSTERY OF THE UNIVERSE AND WITH DIVINITY. THESE SERVICES ARE THE FOUNDATION OF ALL PROGRAMS AND THE MISSION OF THE FELLOWSHIP.


ONE OF THE CORE THEOLOGICAL BELIEFS OF UNITARIAN UNIVERSALISTS IS A COMMITMENT TO PERSONAL SPIRITUAL GROWTH. TO SUPPORT THAT THE RELIGIOUS EDUCATION PROGRAM HAS WEEKLY RELIGIOUS EDUCATION CLASSES FOR CHILDREN 3 - 17. THERE ARE ALSO VARIED CLASSES FOR ADULT MEMBERS. IN ADDITION TO THIS THERE ARE MULTI-GENERATIONAL SERVICES HELD THROUGHOUT THE YEAR TO ALLOW FOR LEARNING ACROSS THE GENERATIONS.


THE SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC ACTION COMMITTEE FOCUSES ON SYSTEMIC PROBLEMS THAT ALLOW PEOPLE TO LIVE IN POVERTY OR RISK OF HARM. THIS PROGRAM INCLUDES DIRECT SERVICE EDUCATION WITNESSING ADVOCACY COMMUNITY ORGANIZING AND LEGISLATIVE ACTION. THE SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC ACTION COMMITTEE ALSO DIRECTS FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO THOSE MOST IN NEED IN THE MORRIS COUNTY ARE AS WELL AS THOSE WORLD WIDE IMPACTED BY NATURAL DISASTERS AND WAR.
