THE PRIMARY PURPOSE OF HAWAII TAX INSTITUTE FOUNDATION IS TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND SERVE CHARITABLE PURPOSES BY CONDUCTING VARIOUS PROGRAMS TO FOSTER AND IMPROVE EDUCATION OF ACCOUNTANTS, ATTORNEYS, FIDUCIARIES, FINANCIAL ADVISORS, AND OTHER TAX PROFESSIONALS.

THE PRIMARY ACTIVITY OF THE HAWAII TAX INSTITUTE FOUNDATION ("HTIF") IS TO PRESENT THE HAWAII TAX INSTITUTE TO ACCOUNTANTS, ATTORNEYS, FIDUCIARIES, FINANCIAL ADVISORS, AND OTHER TAX PROFESSIONALS. THE INSTITUTE CONSISTS OF FIVE DAYS OF LECTURES, SEMINARS, PANEL DISCUSSIONS, AND WORKSHOPS BY LOCALLY AND NATIONALLY KNOWN EXPERTS IN TAX PLANNING. THE HAWAII TAX INSTITUTE IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. IN 2021, THE CONFERENCE WAS CANCELLED DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC & STATE & LOCAL RESTRICTIONS PLACED ON THE TOURISM INDUSTRIES & RESTAURANTS IN THE STATE OF HAWAII. IN LIEU OF THE LIVE CONFERENCE THE INSTITUTE HELD WEBINARS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR ON VARIOUS TOPICS.
