TO PROMOTE AND EXPAND LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT, NETWORKING, AND COOPERATION WITHIN THE LATINO COMMUNITY IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. THE ORGANIZATION SEEKS TO ADVOCATE ON BEHALF OF THE HISPANIC/LATINO COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP TO SERVE ON BOARDS AND AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF CORPORATE LEADERSHIP- PUBLIC AND PRIVATE- IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA; TO BUILD SOCIAL CAPITAL WITHIN AND ON BEHALF OF THE HISPANIC/LATINO COMMUNITY; TO INFORM THE PUBLIC ON THE IMPORTANCE OF HISPANIC/LATINOS TO SOCIETY AND THE WORKFORCE; TO PROVIDE THOUGHT LEADERSHIP TO INFLUENCE INDUSTRY DECISION MAKERS FOR THE ADVANCEMENT OF HISPANIC/LATINO LEADERS; AND TO PROVIDE TRAINING AND EDUCATION TO ENHANCE THE LEADERSHIP SKILLS OF HISPANIC/LATINOS.

MANAGED AND DELIVERED A TEN-MONTH MENTORING AND LEADERSHIP PROGRAM FOR 42 MID-LEVEL CAREER LATINO PROFESSIONALS WITH MORE THAN TEN YEARS OF WORK EXPERIENCE AND FOR 22 EARLY-CAREER LEVEL LATINO PROFESSIONALS WITH LESS THAN TEN YEARS OF WORK EXPERIENCE. THE ORGANIZATION WAS PROVIDED WITH MEETING SPACE AND USE OF FACILITIES THAT WOULD OTHERWISE NEED TO BE OBTAINED FROM OUTSIDE SOURCES AT A COST. AS SUCH, THE ORGANIZATION RECORDS THE FAIR VALUE OF THE DONATED MEETING SPACE AND FACILITIES AT A RATE THAT WOULD APPROXIMATE THE FAIR MARKET VALUE OF RENTING SPACE AT A HOTEL, CONFERENCE CENTER, OR SIMILAR VENUE. THE ESTIMATED FAIR MARKET VALUE OF THE USE OF DONATED FACILITIES IN 2021 WAS $39,408. ADDITIONALLY, (CONTINUED ON SCH. O)THE ORGANIZATION HAS ESTIMATED THE VALUE OF ITS VOLUNTEER MENTORS TO BE $368,640 BASED ON THE NUMBER OF HOURS REQUIRED, THE NUMBER OF PERSONS MENTORED, AND AN AVERAGE RATE OF COMPENSATION THAT A MENTOR WOULD BE PAID IF THE SERVICES WERE NOT OF A VOLUNTEER NATURE.
