COMPREHENSIVE TRAINING: HOPE EMPOWERS NEW YORKERS TO BUILD SUSTAINABLE CAREERS. HOPE FOCUSES ON JOBSEEKERS WITH SIGNIFICANT BARRIERS TO EMPLOYMENT, INCLUDING HISTORIES OF CRIMINAL LEGAL SYSTEM INVOLVEMENT, SUBSTANCE ABUSE, HOMELESSNESS, LOW EDUCATIONAL ATTAINMENT AND OTHERS. THROUGH HOPEWORKS PROGRAM FOR GENERAL CAREERS HOPE'S TRAINING OFFERS A FULL-TIME STRUCTURE, MIRRORED AFTER THE WORKFORCE; LITERACY AND MATH CLASSES; COMPUTER TRAINING; FINANCIAL LITERACY; RESUME-WRITING AND INTERVIEW SKILLS WORKSHOPS; CERTIFICATIONS; DAILY MEALS; PROFESSIONAL CLOTHING; INTRODUCTIONS TO EMPLOYERS AND OTHER SUPPORTS.
