PERFORMED MOSTLY BY HAND, DECONSTRUCTION IS AN EFFECTIVE WAY TO REMOVE RESIDENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL STRUCTURES TO MAXIMIZE MATERIAL RECOVERY AND KEEP REUSABLE BUILDING MATERIAL OUT OF THE WASTE STREAM, FOR USE IN THE COMMUNITY. MATERIALS SALVAGED FROM DECONSTRUCTION ARE MADE AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC FOR PURCHASE AT AN AFFORDABLE PRICE.
