ASSOCIA CARES ADMINISTERS FUNDS TO ASSIST FAMILIES AND COMMUNITIES IN CRISIS AS A RESULT OF NATURAL AND MAN-MADE DISASTERS. RELIEF ASSISTANCE IS PRIMARILY ADMINISTERED DIRECTLY TO INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES. IN SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES, FUNDS ARE DISTRIBUTED TO OTHER NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS TO SUPPORT GROUND-LEVEL DISASTER RECOVERY AND RESCUE EFFORTS. ASSOCIA CARES RECOGNIZES THAT AT THE CORE OF A QUALIFYING DISASTER IS THE DIRECT IMPACT ON THE WELL-BEING AND HEALTH OF THE PEOPLE AFFECTED. BECAUSE OF THIS, ASSOCIA CARES PROVIDES RELIEF TO A VARIETY OF DISASTERS.
