THE FOUNDATION MAKES GRANTS TO NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE IN THE COASTAL BEND AREA OF TEXAS FROM UNRESTRICTED, FIELD-OF-INTEREST, DESIGNATED, SPECIAL PROJECT AND DONOR ADVISED FUNDS.


THE FOUNDATION PROVIDES SCHOLARSHIPS AND FELLOWSHIPS TO STUDENTS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE TERMS OF THE APPROXIMATE 100 SCHOLARSHIP AND FELLOWSHIP FUNDS.


ON NOVEMBER 14, 2023 THE FOUNDATION HAD A ONE 24 HOUR PERIOD OF ONLINE GIVING OF DONATIONS CALLED THE "COASTAL BEND DAY OF GIVING", WHERE DONORS MATCHED THE FIRST 1.4 MILLION COLLECTED FOR 62 NONPROFITS IN THE COASTAL BEND SERVICE AREA. THE TOTAL AMOUNT GRANTED TO THE 62 NONPROFITS WAS 3,869,951 WHICH PROVIDED ASSISTANCE TO OVER 172,206 COASTAL BEND RESIDENTS.
