TO PROVIDE TEMPORARY SHELTER, FAMILY STABILITY AND PERMANENT HOUSING SOLUTIONS FOR HOMELESS FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN BY MOBILIZING RESOURCES FROM INTERFAITH AND SECULAR COMMUNITIES.

FAMILY PROMISE OF BEAUFORT COUNTY'S MISSION IS TO PROVIDE TEMPORARY SHELTER, FAMILY STABILITY AND PERMANENT HOUSING SOLUTIONS FOR HOMELESS FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN BY MOBILIZING RESOURCES FROM INTERFAITH AND SECULAR COMMUNITIES. SINCE OPENING OUR DOORS IN JULY 2008, FAMILY PROMISE OF BEAUFORT COUNTY (FPBC) HAS ASSISTED OVER 837 INDIVIDUALS IN OUR SHELTER AND GET ON TRACK PROGRAMS. WE ARE THE ONLY SHELTER PROGRAM IN BOTH BEAUFORT AND JASPER COUNTIES. FPBC IS SUPPORTED BY OVER 800 VOLUNTEERS FROM OVER 30 CONGREGATIONS, OF A VARIETY OF DIFFERENT FAITHS, THROUGHOUT BEAUFORT COUNTY. THESE VOLUNTEERS PROVIDE OVER 2,000 HOURS OF ASSISTANCE TO THE FAMILIES WE SERVE.
