TO SUPPORT AND ENCOURAGE THE HOME EDUCATORS IN NORTH TEXAS BY PROVIDING EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES THROUGH AFFORDABLE CURRICULUM RESOURCES, CLASSES, SEMINARS, CAMPS, TUTORING, STANDARDIZED TESTING, AND WORKSHOPS FOR BOTH STUDENTS AND PARENTS. SOCIAL ACTIVITIES ARE PROVIDED AT VARIOUS TIMES DURING THE YEAR.

WE PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL CLASSES IN A CO-OPERATIVE SETTING FOR HOMESCHOOL FAMILIES IN OUR AREA, NETWORKING TEACHERS TO FAMILIES IN A VARIETY OF SUBJECTS, CORE AND ELECTIVES. WE PROVIDED CLASSES FOR APPROXIMATELY 305 STUDENTS (SEATS IN CLASSES) REPRESENTING APPROXIMATELY 150 FAMILIES, MONDAY THROUGH THURSDAY, AUGUST 2016 THROUGH MAY 2017.
STANDARDIZED TESTING IS PROVIDED FOR FAMILIES AT LEAST TWICE PER YEAR, FOR THEIR OWN EVALUATION PURPOSES.
WE OFFER A VARIETY OF EXTRACURRICULAR CAMPS AND WORKSHOPS THROUGHOUT THE SCHOOL YEAR AND SUMMER TO MEET THE NEEDS OF OUR COMMUNITY. THESE MAY BE HELD FOR ONE EVENING OR SATURDAY, OR MAY COVER A COUPLE OF WEEKS DURING THE SUMMER. S.A.T. PREPARATORY SEMINARS AND WORKSHOPS, SPEED READING, AND SUMMER CLASSES REPRESENT OTHER POSSIBLE CAMPS. THESE CHANGE FROM YEAR TO YEAR.
AFFORDABLE HOME SCHOOL RESOURCES ARE SOLD THROUGH THE BOOKSTORE, AS A NECESSARY RETAIL. MATERIALS RELATED DIRECTLY TO HOME EDUCATION, SUCH AS CURRICULUM, READERS, AND SUPPLEMENTS FOR ALL SUBJECT AREAS.
