THE ASSOCIATION'S MISSION IS TO REPRESENT ITS MEMBERS IN THE NEGOTIATION OF COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENTS WITH REPRESENTATIVES OF LABOR ORGANIZATIONS PROVIDING FOR TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT AND ADMINISTRATION OR GRIEVANCES. IT COORDINATES ALL LABOR RELATION ACTIVITIES ON BEHALF OF ITS MEMBERS AND IT ADVISES ITS MEMBERS RESPECTING LABOR MANAGEMENT PROBLEMS. THE ASSOCIATION PROVIDE PROCEDURES FOR THE ADMINISTRAITON AND SETTLEMENT OF DISPUTES AND GRIEVANCES ARISING OUT OF COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENTS, EITHER BY CONCILIATION, MEDIATION, OR ARBITRATION OR OTHER LAWFUL MEANS. IT ESTABLISHES, MAINTAINS, FINANCES, OR PARTICIPATES IN SAFETY PROGRAMS, AND IN SO DOING, FULFILLS THE EMPLOYERS' RESPONSIBILITIES TO THE INDUSTRY IN THESE AREAS.
