TO INCREASE THE PERMANENT SUPPLY OF HOUSING AFFORDABLE FOR VERY-LOW, LOW AND MODERATE INCOME RESIDENTS IN PALM BEACH COUNTY.

THROUGH THE COMMITMENT OF ITS ALL-VOLUNTEER BOARD OF DIRECTORS, THE DEDICATION OF ITS STAFF, AND SUPPORT OF ITS MEMBERS, THE CLT OF PBCTC HAS BEEN ABLE TO ACCOMPLISH THE FOLLOWING IN FY 2022-23:NEW HOUSING CONSTRUCTION: COMPLETED THE FIRST HOME IN THE LAKE WORTH BEACH CLT COTTAGE HOMES PROJECT. THIS HOME IS SET ASIDE FOR HOUSEHOLDS WITH INCOMES AT 80% AND BELOW OF THE AMI.BROKE GROUND ON THE LAKE WORTH BEACH E STREET CLT COTTAGE HOMES PROJECT. THIS PROJECT IS COMPRISED OF THREE 3 BD/2BA SINGLE FAMILY HOMES TARGETED TO HOUSEHOLDS AT 100% OF THE AMI. THE PROJECT WAS AWARDED $287,700 IN AMERICAN RECOVERY ACT DOLLARS FROM PALM BEACH COUNTY AND THE LWBCRA DONATED THE LOTS.INITIATED THE DONATION OF AN ADDITIONAL 3 THREE LOTS FROM THE LAKE WORTH BEACH CRA FOR THE LAKE WORTH BEACH COTTAGE HOMES PROJECT.CLT HOMEOWNERSHIP:SOLD 1 (ONE) AFFORDABLE HOUSE UNDER THE COMMUNITY LAND TRUST MODEL OF HOMEOWNERSHIP TO AN ELIGIBLE HOUSEHOLD WITH AN INCOME BELOW 80% AMI.EXECUTED NINE (9) PRESALE AGREEMENTS FOR DAVIS COMMONS WITH BUYERS WHOSE ANNUAL INCOME IS AT OR BELOW 120% AMI.CLT RENTALS:MADE 82 AFFORDABLE RENTAL HOUSING UNITS AVAILABLE TO HOUSEHOLDS WITH INCOMES RANGING FROM 30% AMI TO 120% AMI AT DAVIS LANDINGS AND LA JOYA VILLAGES.GRANTS AWARDED:AWARDED $20,000 OPERATING GRANT FROM WELLS FARGOAWARDED $10,000 OPERATING GRANT FROM BANKUNITEDAWARDED $5,000 OPERATING GRANT FROM FINEMARK NATIONAL BANK AND TRUSTAWARDED $2,000 OPERATING GRANT FROM SYNOVUSSUBMITTED FOR $65K IN EMPLOYEE RETENTION CREDIT FROM IRSPROGRAM EXPANSION:OBTAINED THE CITY OF PORT ST LUCIE COUNCIL'S APPROVAL TO MOVE FORWARD WITH A BUYER INITIATED CLT PROGRAM IN THE CITY THE FIRST IN THE STATE OF FLORIDA.
