DURING THE REPORTING PERIOD, PRAIRIE MUSIC & ARTS OFFERED OUTREACH PROGRAMS WHICH INCLUDED YEAR-ROUND ARTS ENRICHMENT CLASSES AT AREA PUBLIC SCHOOLS IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE SUN PRAIRIE COMMUNITY SCHOOLS AS WELL AS AT THE SUN PRAIRIE BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB OF DANE COUNTY FACILITY. ACTIVITIES INCLUDED CLASSES SUCH AS DRAWING, PAINTING, DIGITAL ART, MURAL ART, ACTING, AND STAGE DESIGN. OUTREACH INITIATIVES STRIVE TO PROVIDE ACCESS TO YOUTH WHO MAY NOT BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE IN AFTER-SCHOOL ARTS ACTIVITIES DUE TO FINANCIAL AND RACIAL BARRIERS. AS SUCH, PRAIRIE MUSIC & ARTS ALIGNS ITSELF WITH PARTNER YOUTH ORGANIZATIONS THAT EMPHASIZE DIVERSITY, EQUITY, AND INCLUSION AND THAT SPREAD REACH TO MORE YOUTH IN NEED.
