MOVING ON LIFE CENTER RAN A SUPPORT GROUP FOR PREGNANT TEENS. THIS PROGRAM WAS ENTITLED PROJECT M.O.T.H.E.R. (MOMS ONWARD TO HEALTH ENBRACING RESILIENCY) WE APPLIED FOR A GRANT TO RUN THIS PROGRAM BUT DID NOT GET THE AWARD. HOWEVER, THE NEED WAS STILL GREAT. WE WERE ABLE TO PROVIDE COUNCILING AND SUPPORT SERVICES TO 5 PREGNANT GIRLS UNDER THIS INITATIVE. OUR DOULA COUNSELOURS MAINTAIN CONTACT WITH THE GIRLS LONG AFTER THEIR BABIES ARE DELIVERED.
