HEALTHY LIVING PROJECTS (HLP) CONTINUES TO BE THE ONLY AIDS SERVICE ORGANIZATION IN JOHNSON COUNTY, KANSAS. HLP COLLABORATES WITH THE JOHNSON COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT TO PROVIDE PREVENTION AND HIV TESTING IN JOHNSON COUNTY, KANSAS. OVER THE PAST YEAR, HLP HAS EXPANDED OUTREACH TESTING TO LEAVENWORTH, MIAMI, AND WYANDOTTE COUNTIES IN KANSAS. IN 2023, 320 PEOPLE WERE TESTED. WITH THOSE TESTED THERE WAS A POSITIVITY RATE OF 1% HIV, A DECREASED NUMBER FROM 2022.
