OUR CHARITY SPONSORS A SENIOR CITIZEN OUTREACH PROGRAM CALLED THE PANTRY HOUR. THIS PAST YEAR WE LIMITED OUR GROUP ACTIVITIES DUE TO CONTINUED COVID CONCERNS. WE PREPARED HOT MEALS ONCE A MONTH FOR DISTRIBUTION TO SENIOR CITIZENS IN THE COMMUNITY. SOME PICKED UP MEALS FROM THE FACILITY AND OTHER MEALS WERE DELIVERED TO THOSE WHO WERE UNABLE TO COME OUT. THE FACILITY USED FOR THE PROGRAM WAS A LOCAL CHURCH THAT DID NOT CHARGE A FEE FOR THE USE OF THEIR FACILITIES. OVER THE PAST YEAR, WE BEGAN SERVING 40 - 50 PLATES PER MONTH AND THEN GREW TO 50 TO 60 PLATES FOR SENIOR CITIZENS BY YEAR END. WE EXPECT TO RETURN TO IN-PERSON MEALS EARLY 2023.
