DUE TO THE PANDEMIC, ACTIVITIES SPONSORED BY THE FRIENDS HAVE MOVED PRIMARILY ONLINE. SINCE WE CANNOT BRING GROUPS ONTO THE REFUGES, WE HAVE DEVELOPED A SERIES OF VIDEOS HIGHLIGHTING TRAILS AVAILABLE TO VISITORS. THE FRIENDS, ALONG WITH PARTNERS SALEM AUDOBON SOCIETY AND US FISH AND WILDLIFE SERVICE, ARE BUILDING THE ANKENY HILL NATURE CENTER. THE CENTER IS NEARING COMPLETION, AND AS SOON AS COVID-19 ALLOWS, WE WILL BE OPEN FOR PUBLIC USE.SEE SCHEDULE O
