TOMORROW'S CHILDREN OF WISCONSIN PROVIDES SUPPORT TO TOMORROWS CHILDREN INC. TO SUPPORT THEIR RESIDENTIAL CARE PROGRAM.RESIDENTIAL CARE--THE ORGANIZATION OPERATES A STATE-LICENSED 35-BED RESIDENTIAL CARE CENTER ON 15 ACRES IN RURAL WAUPACA, WISCONSIN. MOST CHILDREN ARE PLACED BY COUNTY SOCIAL SERVICE AGENCIES UNDER A COURT ORDER FOR A CHILD IN NEED OF PROTECTIVE SERVICES. THESE CHILDREN HAVE TYPICALLY FAILED IN NUMEROUS PRIOR PLACEMENTS. THE ORGANIZATION SERVES CHILDREN WITH A WIDE VARIETY OF DIAGNOSES, PROVIDING INDIVIDUAL PROGRAMMING TO ASSIST THE CHILDREN IN IMPROVING THEIR BEHAVIOR AND SOCIAL SKILLS TO A LEVEL WHERE THEY ARE ABLE TO RETURN TO A COMMUNITY SETTING. THE PROGRAM PROVIDES 24 HOUR AWAKE SUPERVISION OF THE CHILDREN IN ADDITION TO MEETING ALL OF THEIR EMOTIONAL AND PHYSICAL NEEDS.
