Part 3 - Line 4a
DESIGN: WITH COMMUNITY INPUT, HDCA BEGAN THE PROCESS OF DESIGN FOR THE DOWNTOWN REVITALIZATION PROJECT. A PROJECT FOCUSED ON INFRASTRUCTURE AND VISUAL DESIGN TO ENHANCE CHELANS HISTORIC DOWNTOWN.
MUSIC IN THE PARK: THIS EVENT FOCUSES ON BRINGING LOCAL AND NEAR LOCAL BANDS TO HISTORIC DOWNTOWN CHELAN IN A FAMILY FRIENDLY MUSIC VENUE, OUTSIDE IN RIVERWALK PARK ALONG THE CHELAN RIVER. THIS EVENT ENCOURAGES PEOPLE TO COME DOWNTOWN ON A SUNDAY AFTERNOON AND PERUSE THE LOCAL SHOPS AND RESTAURANTS AND THEN FINISH OUT THEIR DAY IN THE PARK.
SMALL TOWN HOLIDAYS: SMALL TOWN HOLIDAYS IS A STRONG COLLABORATION BETWEEN HDCA, THE LAKE CHELAN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE, THE LAKE CHELAN VALLEY WINE ALLIANCE AND OTHER COMMUNITY PARTNERS TO CREATE FAMILY FRIENDLY EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES THROUGHOUT THE HOLIDAY SEASON. THE PURPOSE IS TO ENCOURAGE RESIDENTS AND VISITORS TO GATHER TOGETHER IN CELEBRATION OF COMMUNITY. BUSINESSES IN THE CHELAN VALLEY OFFER SPECIALS AS PART OF THE EVENT.
