THE WINTERHAVEN FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS IS THE LONGEST RUNNING FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS IN THE COUNTRY, HAVING RUN CONTINUOUSLY SINCE 1949. MORE IMPORTANTLY, HOWEVER, IS THE FACT THAT THE PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE FESTIVAL IS TO GATHER FOOD AND DONATIONS FOR THE COMMUNITY FOOD BANK OF SOUTHERN ARIZONA.
