A FULL SERVICE PROGRAM DEDICATED TO PROVIDING CLIENTS COMFORTS OF HOME WITH FURNITURE AND ACCESSORIES. EACH PIECE OF FURNITURE IS CLEANED AND FIXED BEFORE BEING DELIVERED. THOUSANDS OF PIECES OF FURNITURE WERE COLLECTED AND DISTRIBUTED TO GREATER WATERBURY AND LITCHFIELD HILLS HOMES. WE RECEIVED GENEROUS CONTRIBUTIONS TOWARDS CONTINUING THE SLEEP WELL CAMPAIGN TO PROVIDE NEW BED SETS. THESE SERVICES WERE PROVIDED SAFELY THROUGH THE PANDEMIC TO ENSURE EACH FAMILY HAD THE COMFORTS OF HOME DURING A DIFFICULT TIME.
THE ACTS 4 MINISTRY FACILITY IS SET IN A STORE ENVIRONMENT TO INSTILL LOVE, DIGNITY AND SELF-RESPECT INTO THE LIVES OF THOSE THE ORGANIZATION SERVES. THIS IS WHERE INDIVIDUALS IN NEED CAN SELECT AND RECEIVE FREE OF CHARGE CLOTHING AND HOUSEWARES TWICE A YEAR. THE TARGET AREA OF SERVICE IS GREATER WATERBURY AND LITCHFIELD HILLS. BY APPOINTMENT, THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDED SERVICES TO THOUSANDS OF INDIVIDUALS THROUGH THE COLLECTION AND DISTRIBUTION OF NEW AND GENTLY USED CLOTHING, FURNITURE AND HOUSE HOLD GOODS. A NEW PROGRAM IMPLEMENTED DURING THE PANDEMIC WAS THE PERSONAL CARE CLOSET, PROVIDING INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES BRAND NEW HYGIENE, CLEANING AND FEMININE CARE PRODUCTS. THIS OFFERING HELPED TO ALLEVIATE THE EXTRA BURDEN OF EXPENSES OR STRESS DUE TO LACK OF SUPPLY DURING THE PANDEMIC.
