THE HOLT FAMILY FOUNDATION ESTABLISHED A SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM WHICH ASSISTS QUALIFIED STUDENTS RESIDING IN PLAQUEMINES, ORLEANS, JEFFERSON AND OTHER PARISHES IN LOUISIANA. THE COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP IS A PROGRAM DESIGNED TO ASSIST RESIDENTS OF LOUISIANA WHO PLAN TO CONTINUE THEIR EDUCATION IN COLLEGE.THIS PROGRAM IS ADMINISTERED BY SCHOLARSHIP AMERICA, THE NATION'S LARGEST DESIGNER AND MANAGER OF SCHOLARSHIP, TUITION ASSISTANCE AND OTHER EDUCATION SUPPORT PROGRAMS FOR CORPORATIONS, FOUNDATIONS, ASSOCIATIONS, AND INDIVIDUALS. AWARDS ARE GRANTED WITHOUT REGARD TO RACE, COLOR, CREED, RELIGION, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, AGE, GENDER, DISABILITY, OR NATIONAL ORIGIN.STUDENTS MUST HAVE A MIN 2.5 GPA AND DEMONSTRATE FINANCIAL NEED.
THE HOLT FAMILY FOUNDATION PROVIDES GRANTS TO ORGANIZATIONS THAT SUPPORT LOCAL COMMUNITY AND ENVIRONMENTAL. IT ALSO PROVIDES EDUCATIONAL GRANTS THROUGH QUALIFIED MUSEUM PROGRAMS.

THE FOUNDATION MAY ALSO PROVIDE ASSISTANCE TO OTHER INDIVIDUALS ON THE BASIS OF MERIT, HARDSHIP, PHYSICAL OR MENTAL HEALTH NEEDS AND TO QUALIFIED ORGANIZATIONS THAT IN ITS JUDGEMENT , FALL WITHIN THE PUBLIC HEALTH, EDUCATION AND COMMUNITY OUTREACH OF ITS POLICY GUIDELINES.
