PARTNERS FOR CLEAN STREAMS CONTINUED TO SUPPORT THE MAUMEE AOC ADVISORY COMMITTEE ACTIVITIES THROUGH A GRANT FROM OHIO EPA. WE PLANNED & ORGANIZED MEETINGS AND ACTIVITIES. WE ORGANIZED AND LED A BOAT CRUISE AND OUTREACH MEETINGS. WE CONTINUED TO MAINTAIN A SOPHISTICATED ONLINE DATABASE AND DECISION-MAKING TOOL (DMDS) AND UPDATED AOC SOCIAL MEDIA, NEWSLETTERS, AND A WEBSITE. WE WORKED WITH MANY PARTNERS TO DEVELOP POTENTIAL RESTORATION PROJECTS IN THE MAUMEE AOC AND TO ADVISE ONGOING RESTORATION PROJECT PARTNERS.
PARTNERS FOR CLEAN STREAMS RECEIVED FOUNDATION SUPPORT FOR OUR STREAM CLEANUP PROGRAMS, INCLUDING GET THE LEAD OUT, CLEAN YOUR STREAMS, AND CYS 365. THE FOUNDATIONS SUPPORTED OUR OUTREACH, PLANNING, SUPPLIES, AND ADAPTING TO COVID19. THE FOUNDATION SUPPORT HELPED US SUPPORT NEARLY 600 VOLUNTEERS TO CONTINUE TO DO STREAM CLEANUPS, INCLUDING PARTICIPATING ON THEIR OWN WITH STREAM CLEANUP KITS & USING AN APP TO TRACK THEIR IMPACT. WE ALSO REGULARLY COMMUNICATED THROUGH INCREASED SOCIAL MEDIA & UPDATES ON OUR WEBSITE AS WE CONTINUALLY ADAPTED TO COVID19 TO CONTINUE OUR MISSION.
