WITH COMMITMENT AND DEDICATION TO MUSICAL EXCELLENCE AND RIGOR AS WELL AS DIVERSITY AND INCLUSIVENESS, IT IS THE MISSION OF THE YOUTH ORCHESTRAS OF CHARLOTTE TO INSPIRE AND NURTURE THE MUSICAL TALENTS OF YOUTH IN THE GREATER CHARLOTTE AREA, SERVING BOTH NORTH AND SOUTH CAROLINA STUDENTS. THROUGH FULL SYMPHONIC AND CHAMBER MUSIC REHEARSAL AND PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES, OUR MUSICIANS WILL RECEIVE THE HIGHESTQUALITY INSTRUCTION IN CHAMBER AND ORCHESTRAL MUSIC FROM AREA PROFESSIONAL SYMPHONICMUSICIANS AND EDUCATORS

YOUTH ORCHESTRAS OF CHARLOTTE - WE HAVE 4 ENSEMBLES. EACH ENSEMBLE REHEARSES WEEKLY FROM SEPT THROUGH MAY AND PERFORM 5 - 7 CONCERTS. THE ENSEMBLES RECEIVE COACHING FROM PROFESSIONAL MUSICIANS VIA SMALL GROUP INSTRUCTION A FEW TIMES A YEAR.
