THE ORGANIZATION'S NATIONAL OFFICE BUDGETS AND COORDINATES OKTOBERFEST EACH YEAR. OKTOBERFEST IS A WEEK-LONG EVENT THAT INCLUDES DRIVING EVENTS, CLUB RACES, AND SOCIAL FUNCTIONS FOR PARTICIPATING MEMBERS. THE NATIONAL OFFICE HOSTS THE NEWSLETTER EDITOR/WEBMASTER CONFERENCE, WHICH IS AN EDUCATIONAL CONFERENCE FOR CHAPTER NEWSLETTER EDITORS AND WEBMASTERS. THE NATIONAL OFFICE ALSO HOSTS THE CHAPTER LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE. THE INDIVIDUAL CHAPTERS SPONSOR VARIOUS DRIVING EVENTS FOR CLUB MEMBERS. THE NATIONAL OFFICE COORDINATES MOTORSPORT INSURANCE FOR THESE EVENTS. ADDITIONALLY, MEMBERS ARE GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY TO PARTICIPATE IN CLUB RACES AND OTHER SOCIAL EVENTS. AS MEMBERS ARE ASSIGNED TO LOCAL CHAPTERS, A REBATE FROM MEMBERSHIP DUES IS MADE TO INDIVIDUAL STATE CHAPTERS ON AN ALLOCABLE BASIS TO SUPPORT EVENTS AT THE LOCAL LEVEL.
IN 2020 WE CHANGED THE OFFICIAL NAME OF THE PUBLICATION TO THE BMW CAR CLUB MAGAZINE. THIS WAS UPDATED AS WELL THROUGH THE USPS. WE NOW PRODUCE 10 ISSUES OF ROUNDEL AND 2 ISSUES OF BIMMERLIFE UNDER THIS PUBLICATION TITLE. BIMMERLIFE FOCUSES ON REGIONAL CHAPTERS AND THEIR EVENTS.
