AN ANNUAL ASSEMBLY IS HELD TO ELECT OFFICERS OF THE ORGANIZATION. AT THIS EVENT, AWARDS ARE PRESENTED TO CLUBS AND CHAPTERS FOR OUTSTANDING PROJECTS AND ACHIEVEMENTS DURING THE PREVIOUS YEAR. MEMBERS VISIT THE NATIONAL OFFICE THROUGHOUT THE YEAR TO VOLUNTEER THEIR TIME TO WORK ON PROJECTS THAT NEED TO BE DONE IN THE HISTORICAL MUSEUM.DUE TO COVID-19 NO ANNUAL ASSEMBLY WAS HELD IN 2021.
QUARTERLY MAGAZINES THAT DESCRIBE ACTIVITES OF CLUBS, CHAPTERS, AND THE NATIONAL OFFICE, AS WELL AS ACTIVITIES OF THE 2 AFFILIATED FOUNDATIONS, ARE PRINTED AND DISTRIBUTED TO ALL MEMBERS. OCCASIONAL NEWSLETTERS ARE ALSO DISTRIBUTED TO ALL MEMBERS.
AT ANNUAL ASSEMBLY CLUBS AND CHAPTERS ARE RECOGNIZED FOR THEIR SUPPORT OF COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES AND THE LOCAL TELEPHONE COMPANIES. THE PERIODICAL NEWSLETTER KEEPS MEMBERS INFORMED OF THE CLUB AND CHAPTER ACTIVITIES. MEMBERS PERIODICALLY VISIT THE HINESVILLE NATIONAL OFFICE TO WORK ON THE HISTORICAL MUSEUM DISPLAYS. INDIVIDUAL MEMBERS CONTRIBUTE ITEMS OF HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE FOR THE MUSEUM.
