CARING HOUSE PROVIDES A LOVING HOME OF CARE, COMPASSION, SUPPORT AND DIGNITY FOR BOTH INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE DYING AND THEIR LOVED ONES, SO EVERYONE CAN EXPERIENCE PEACE AT THE END OF LIFE.

CARING HOUSE IS A NON-PROFIT, HOME-BASED SETTING COMPLETELY FOCUSED ON HELPING RESIDENTS AND FAMILIES THROUGH THE END-OF-LIFE JOURNEY - THE FIRST AND ONLY ONE OF ITS KIND IN LA COUNTY. OUR TEAM OF EXPERIENCED CAREGIVERS TEND TO OUR RESIDENTS' DAILY NEEDS AROUND THE CLOCK WITH COMPASSION AND DIGNITY, AND IN PARTNERSHIP WITH EACH RESIDENT'S HOSPICE TEAM. WE ALSO PROVIDE GUIDANCE AND SUPPORT TO THE FAMILIES, ALLOWING EVERYONE TO FOCUS THEIR TIME ON CONNECTING WITH EACH OTHER, WHICH HAS PROFOUNDLY POSITIVE EFFECT ON THEIR MENTAL WELLNESS FROM THAT POINT FORWARD. AS A LICENSED RESIDENTIAL CARE FACILITY FOR THE ELDERLY BY THE CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL SERVICES, WE PROVIDE SUPPORT FOR UP TO FIVE RESIDENTS/FAMILIES AT ANY ONE TIME, AND WE OFFER EDUCATION AND RESOURCES ON CARE PLANNING, ADVANCE DIRECTIVES AND RELATED TOPICS AS A SERVICE TO THE COMMUNITY.
