ORGANIZED AND CONDUCTED A 3-DAY O'FLAHERTY IRISH MUSIC RETREAT IN OCTOBER 2019. THIS EVENT WAS ATTENDED BY 400 STUDENTS WHO LEARNED FROM EXPERTS IN THE FIELD HOW TO PLAY, OR IMPROVE THEIR SKILLS IN PLAYING, TRADITIONAL IRISH MUSIC.
THE TIMES BAND PROMOTES THE LEARNING AND PLAYING OF TRADITIONAL IRISH MUSIC THROUGH WEEKLY PERFORMANCES AT VENEUS THROUGHOUT THE DALLAS/FORT WORTH, TEXAS AREA. AUDIENCES RANGE FROM 10 TO 100 YEARS OF AGE AT EACH PERFORMANCE. THE BAND HAS A POOL OF FIFTY MUSICIANS THAT PARTICIPATE.
ORGANIZED AND CONDUCTED A 2-DAY IRISH MUSIC YOUTH CAMP IN JUNE 2019. THIS EVENT WAS ATTENDED BY 125 STUDENTS AGED 5-17 YEARS OF AGE, WHO LEARNED FROM EXPERTS IN THE FIELD HOW TO PLAY, OR IMPROVE THEIR SKILLS IN PLAYING, TRADITIONAL IRISH MUSIC.
