AMERICAN MILITARY FAMILY (AMF) PROVIDES VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILIES WITH ASSISTANCE, WHETHER IT BE EMOTIONAL, PHYSICAL, MENTAL OR FINANCIAL, FOR THEIR MISSING, SUICIDAL, DISPLACED OR STRUGGLING HERO. WE ARE HERE TO AIDE IN THEIR ROAD TO RECOVERY AND SUBSEQUENT SUCCESS OUR GOAL: STOP VETERAN & FIRST RESPONDERS SUICIDE TO ENGAGE FELLOW VETERANS TO REACH OUT TO OTHER STRUGGLING BATTLE BUDDIES; TO EDUCATE COMMUNITIES AND BUSINESSES THAT WILL EDUCATE CIVILIANS ABOUT THE NEEDS AND ISSUES FACING OUR VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILIES; TO FORM A COALITION OF COMBAT VETERANS AND FAMILIES WHO WILL STRENGTHEN AND EMPOWER ONE ANOTHER

DESPITE MANY COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS THAT REMAINED IN PLACE FOR CALENDAR YEAR 2022, WE HOSTED A TOTAL OF FOUR (4) #AMFGY6 INTRUSIVE INTERVENTIONS WHICH SERVED A TOTAL OF 77 VETERANS. WE HOSTED 27 #AMFGY6 WAR ROOM CALLS SERVING A TOTAL OF 158 VETERANS/FIRST RESPONDERS. THROUGH OUR GROUP SUPPORT ENCOUNTERS, AMF SERVED A TOTAL OF 135 VETERANS AND THEIR SIGNIFICANT OTHERS. WE SENT FOUR (4) VETERANS TO LONG TERM TREATMENT CENTERS AND PROVIDED FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO 47 CASES. OUR VETERANS ADVOCATE WORKED IN DIRECT SUPPORT OF SECURING ADDITIONAL BENEFITS FOR A TOTAL OF 16 VETERANS AND WE WERE ABLE TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL/GIFT CARDS TO OFFSET FOOD, TOILETRIES, AND HOUSING EXPENSES FOR 14 VETERANS/FIRST RESPONDERS. WE CONTINUE TO GROW OUR #AMFGY6 PROGRAM, AND WE HAVE EXPANDED OUR REACH TO STRUGGLING/SUICIDAL VETERANS/FIRST RESPONDERS THROUGHOUT THE COUNTRY BY HOSTING ZOOM/VIRTUAL SESSIONS.
