OUR MISSION IS TO HELP UNDER-SERVED, UNDER-RESOURCED, AT-RISK PEOPLE AND THE PETS THEY LOVE STAY TOGETHER.

ANIMAL WELFARE SERVICES - WE DISTRIBUTED OVER 39,000 LBS OF DOG AND CAT FOOD AND SUPPLIES TO THOSE STRUGGLING FINANCIALLY. WE RECEIVED OVER 1,800 REQUESTS FOR HELP BY TELEPHONE, TEXT AND EMAILS. WE COVERED WELLNESS CHECKS AND VET CARE FOR OVER 1,000 PETS.
SHELTER INTERVENTION PROGRAM - ONSITE PROGRAM AT AN ANIMAL SHELTER WHERE OPTIONS ARE OFFERED TO PEOPLE WHO ARE THERE TO SURRENDER THEIR PET, AND TO HELP PEOPLE GET THEIR PETS OUT OF THE SHELTER. SERVICES OFFERED INCLUDE VETERINARY VOUCHERS FOR ILLNESSES, SKIN ISSUES, EAR INFECTIONS, VACCINATIONS, SPAY/NEUTER, MEDICATION, ETC., EMOTIONAL SUPPORT ANIMAL ASSESSMENT/CERTIFICATION, REDEMPTION FEES AND BACK LICENSING. OVER 280 PETS WERE HELPED AND WENT HOME WITH THEIR OWNERS INSTEAD OF ENTERING THE SHELTER.
FISCAL SPONSOR - SHELTER ME - ORGANIZATION ACTS AS A FISCAL SPONSOR FOR SHELTER ME WHICH IS PRODUCING A FILM SERIES THAT FEATURES SHELTER PETS AND THE PEOPLE WHO HELP THEM, IN ORDER TO INCREASE THE VISIBILITY OF SHELTER PETS AND PROMOTE THEIR ADOPTION AND TO RECRUIT VOLUNTEERS TO HELP IN SHELTERS. THE PRODUCTION OF THE FILM SERIES INCLUDES MUSIC LICENSING, RESEARCH, POST-PRODUCTION, DISTRIBUTION, TRAVEL COSTS, MARKETING, AND THE MAINTENANCE OF THEIR WEBSITE.
