SINCE OPENING IN 2006, SQUIRREL HILL HEALTH CENTER HAS GROWN STEADILY AND NOW SERVES MORE THAN 7,100 PATIENTS ANNUALLY AT TWO FIXED SITES AND ON THE MOBILE MEDICAL UNIT, WHICH BRINGS HEALTHCARE TO ISOLATED RESIDENTS OF ALLEGHENY COUNTY. OUTPATIENT PRIMARY MEDICAL SERVICES INCLUDE PRENATAL AND WOMEN'S HEALTH CARE, PEDIATRICS, FAMILY MEDICINE, INTERNAL MEDICINE, AND GERIATRICS. INTEGRATED BEHAVIORAL HEALTH CARE, AVAILABLE TO PATIENTS OF SHHC'S PRIMARY MEDICAL CLINICIANS, INCLUDES PSYCHIATRIC EVALUATIONS AND TREATMENT, INDIVIDUAL AND GROUP THERAPY, MEDICATION MANAGEMENT AND PEER SUPPORT FOR A VARIETY OF BEHAVIORAL HEALTH DIAGNOSES. SINCE 2017, SHHC HAS ALSO PROVIDED INTEGRATED MEDICATION ASSISTED TREATMENT FOR OPIOID ADDICTION. SHHC PROVIDES PREVENTIVE, RESTORATIVE AND EMERGENCY DENTAL SERVICES AT THE SQUIRREL HILL LOCATION ONLY. SHHC ALSO PROVIDES ON-SITE LAB SERVICES, ASSISTANCE IN INSURANCE ENROLLMENT, EXTENSIVE CARE COORDINATION, AND INTERPRETATION IN 150 DIFFERENT LANGUAGES, WITH STAFF MEMBERS WHO ARE FLUENT IN NEPALI, SPANISH, ARABIC, FRENCH, SWAHILI, AND AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE. A CLINICIAN IS ON CALL 24/7 AND SHHC MAKES HOUSE CALLS TO HOMEBOUND PATIENTS. SHHC IS AN NCQA CERTIFIED LEVEL III PATIENT CENTERED MEDICAL HOME, HAS ACHIEVED MEANINGFUL USE AND, IN OCTOBER 2018, PASSED A HRSA OPERATIONAL SITE VISIT WITH 100% COMPLIANCE.
