WOMENCARE, INC. D/B/A FAMILY CARE HEALTH CENTERS, PROVIDES PRIMARY CARE SERVICES TO WOMEN AND FAMILIES, AS WELL AS OB/GYN, PEDIATRICS, BEHAVIORAL HEALTH, DENTAL SERVICES, AND INTERNAL MEDICINE IN THE GREATER KANAWHA, PUTNAM, CABELL, AND BOONE COUNTY REGIONS. THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES A SLIDING FEE SCALE BASED ON FEDERAL POVERTY GUIDELINES AND PROVIDES FREE HEALTH SCREENINGS AND OTHER HEALTH SERVICES TO THE COMMUNITY DURING HEALTH FAIRS AND OTHER EVENTS. IN ADDITION, IT PROVIDES EDUCATIONAL SERVICES TO THE COMMUNITY REGARDING VARIOUS HEALTH ISSUES, SUCH AS HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE AND DIABETES.
