COMMUNITIES FOR RECOVERY SUPPORTS LONG-TERM RECOVERY FOR PEOPLE WITH SUBSTANCE USE AND CO-OCCURRING MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES BY PARTNERING WITH OTHER ORGANIZATIONS IN THE COMMUNITY TO PROVIDE PEER-SUPPORTED RECOVERY SERVICES.

IN 2023, COMMUNITIES FOR RECOVERY SERVICES PROGRAM MADE SIGNIFICANT STRIDES IN SUPPORTING RECOVERY THROUGH VOLUNTEERISM AND PEER SUPPORT. OUR 123 VOLUNTEERS CONTRIBUTED 5,316 HOURS, LEADING 908 SUPPORT GROUP MEETINGS FOR 1,299 UNIQUE INDIVIDUALS. OUR COMMUNITY CENTER SAW 4,753 VISITS, INCLUDING 356 NEW USERS. VOLUNTEERS' EFFORTS IN OUTREACH, FUNDRAISING, EVENTS, AND TRAININGS HAVE BEEN CRUCIAL. PEER SUPPORT SPECIALISTS (PSS) PROVIDED ESSENTIAL GUIDANCE, CONNECTING WITH 2,178 INDIVIDUALS, FACILITATING SUPPORT GROUPS FOR 526 ATTENDEES, AND OFFERING ONE-ON-ONE SUPPORT TO 828 INDIVIDUALS. WE HOSTED DIVERSE SUPPORT GROUPS, EVENTS, AND WELLNESS PROGRAMS, COLLABORATING WITH OTHER RECOVERY ORGANIZATIONS TO ENSURE COMPREHENSIVE SUPPORT. OUR PEER LEADERSHIP ACADEMY TRAINED ASPIRING PEER SUPPORT SPECIALISTS, FOSTERING THE NEXT GENERATION OF RECOVERY LEADERS. WE ARE PROUD OF OUR 2023 IMPACT AND REMAIN COMMITTED TO FOSTERING HOPE AND SUPPORTING RECOVERY JOURNEYS.
