THE PRIMARY EXEMPT PURPOSE FOR THE JOSEPH TAYLOR SR. FAMILY ASSOCIATION (JTFA) IS THE CHARITABLE, AND EDUCATIONAL ASPECT OF GENEALOGY AND FAMILY HISTORY. JTFA SEEKS TO ACHIEVE THESE PURPOSES BY: 1. RESEARCHING AND DOCUMENTING THE ARRIVAL OF JOSEPH TAYLOR'S ANCESTORS IN COLONIAL NORTH AMERICA AND THE MOVEMENT OF HIS DESCENDANTS IN THE SETTLEMENT OF THE UNITED STATES. 2. ENCOURAGING AND ASSISTING LOCAL GROUPS OF FAMILY MEMBERS TO CONDUCT ACTIVITIES ADVANCING THEIR FAMILY RELATIONSHIPS. 3. PERIODICALLY DISTRIBUTING A NEWSLETTER REPORTING ON THE RESULTS OF RESEARCH INTO THE FAMILY HISTORY, NOTING MILESTONES IN THE LIVES OF FAMILY MEMBERS, AND UPCOMING FAMILY EVENTS.
