THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES A SUPPLY OF AFFORDABLE HOMES IN WHITEFISH MT. UNDER THE PROGRAM, HOMES ARE BE PURCHASED, REHABILITATED OR DEMOLISHED AND NEW HOMES CONSTRUCTED. THE HOMES ARE SOLD OR RENTED TO ELIGIBLE PERSONS. THE ORGANIZATION ADVOCATED FOR AFFORDABLE HOUSING POLICY SOLUTIONS AT THE LOCAL AND STATE LEVEL. FOR FISCAL YEAR ENDING 6/30/24, THE ORGANIZATION ESTABLISHED THE WHITEFISH WORKFORCE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM. THE PROGRAM PROVIDES RENTAL ASSISTANCE PAYMENTS TO LANDLORDS ON BEHALF OF ELIGIBLE APPLICANTS. THE PROGRAM IS CURRENTLY SERVING 37 HOUSEHOLDS, AND 81 INDIVIDUALS ARE IMPACTED BY THE PROGRAM. IN ADDITION TO THE WORKFORCE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM, THE ORGANIZATION MADE PROGRESS ON THE ALPENGLOW II DEVELOPMENT. THE ORGANIZATION SECURED A 1 MILLION GRANT FROM THE CITY OF WHITEFISH AND WAS APPROVED FOR A COAL TRUST MULTIFAMILY HOMES PROGRAM LOAN FROM THE STATE OF MONTANA FOR THE PROJECT. THE PROJECT IS STILL IN DESIGN AND THE ORGANIZATION IS WORKING TO IDENTIFY ADDITIONAL FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES.
