THE HOUSING TRUST OWNS AND MANAGES 28 AFFORDABLE RENTAL UNITS WHICH COMPRISE THE REDMOND STREET RENTALS.THE HOUSING TRUST OWNS AND MANAGES 5 AFFORDABLE RENTAL UNITS AT 225 EAST HANSEN AND 620 EAST HANSEN.
SINCE 1991, THE HOUSING TRUST HAS DEVELOPED OR ACQUIRED 142 HOMES. CENTRAL TO THE STEWARDSHIP OF THESE ASSETS ARE THE MANAGEMENT AND ADMINISTRATION OF THE GROUND LEASES AND SPECIAL RESTRICTIONS ASSOCIATED WITH EACH HOME. IN CONCERT WITH THIS SCOPE OF WORK, STAFF ENSURES THAT THE HOUSING TRUST LEGAL, FINANCIAL AND LENDING GUIDELINES ARE CURRENT WITH FEDERAL REQUIREMENTS. IN ADDITION TO STEWARDSHIP OF THE HOMES DEVELOPED AND ACQUIRED BY THE HOUSING TRUST OVER THE YEARS, SIGNIFICANT STAFF TIME EACH YEAR IS ALSO DEDICATED TO PREDEVELOPMENT EFFORTS TO ASSESS PROJECT VIABILITY INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LAND ACQUISITION, PRECONSTRUCTION DUE DILIGENCE, FINANCIAL ANALYSIS, PARTNERSHIP IDENTIFICATION AND COLLABORATION, AND FUNDRAISING.
