Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
Part 3 - Line 4a
IN 2021 WE CONTINUED OUR DEDICATION TO EXPLORING BOTH THE EMOTIONAL AND PRACTICAL FACTORS THAT EITHER ENHANCE OR HINDER QUALITY OF LIFE AND FINANCIAL WELL-BEING. JANUARY 2021 - FEBRUARY 2021: THE MQRE PREPARED AND SUBMITTED A RESEARCH PROPOSAL, "DEVELOPING & MAINTAINING TRUST & COMMITMENT IN A RAPIDLY CHANGING ENVIRONMENT," IN RESPONSE TO AN RFP ISSUED BY FINANCIAL PLANNING ASSOCIATION AND ALLIANZ. MQRE AND FOUR UNIVERSITY PARTNERS WERE SELECTED TO RECEIVE THE GRANT AND TO CONDUCT THE RESEARCH PROJECT PROPOSED. THE MAIN REQUIREMENT OF THE AWARD WAS THE DEVELOPMENT OF A PROPRIETARY DATASET THAT FOCUSED PRIMARILY ON FINANCIAL PLANNERS AND THEIR WORK WITH CLIENTS. FEB 2021- DEC 2021: WITH THE SUPPORT OF FPA AND ALLIANZ, THE MQRE REPLICATED A 2006 STUDY TO EXAMINE THE EVOLUTION OF COMMUNICATION STRATEGIES AND TO LEARN HOW CURRENT PRACTICES EITHER ENHANCE OR HINDER THE DEVELOPMENT OF TRUST AND COMMITMENT IN PLANNER/CLIENT RELATIONSHIPS. THIS STUDY ALSO EXAMINED THE DEVELOPMENT OF SUCCESSFUL PLANNER/CLIENT RELATIONSHIPS IN THE CONTEXT OF 1) CURRENT DEMOGRAPHIC, ECONOMIC, AND EQUITY ISSUES; 2) THE PREVALENCE OF FINANCIAL ANXIETY; AND 3) TRENDS THAT DEMAND VIRTUAL COMMUNICATION METHODS. THE RESEARCH AND ANALYSES RESULTED IN AN IN-DEPTH, 45,000-WORD WHITEPAPER, DEVELOPING AND MAINTAINING CLIENT TRUST AND COMMITMENT IN A RAPIDLY CHANGING ENVIRONMENT PUBLISHED BY FPA AND RELEASED FEBRUARY 2022. IN ADDITION, MQRE OFFERED THE FOLLOWING ONLINE COURSES FOR FINANCIAL PROFESSIONALS AND EDUCATORS TO IMPROVE THERE EFFECTIVENESS IN SERVING THEIR CONSTITUENTS: SEPTEMBER 11, 2021 - NOVEMBER 21, 2021, ONLINE COURSE: "TOWARDS AWARE AND VALUES-CENTERED INVESTING" TAUGHT BY MARCO VANGELISTI, CFA WITH GUEST LECTURER JOHNNY ROLAND, CFP (10 WEEKS-5 MODULES, 6.5 CFP CE).
