WE ARE A CATHOLIC WORKER COMMUNITY WHICH PROVIDES FOOD, CLOTHING, AND SPIRITUALLY-CENTERED CARE TO ITS GUESTS. WE PROVIDE LUNCH TO INDIGENTS IN THE COMMUNITY. NORMALLY, WE ALSO OPERATE A HOMELESS SHELTER WITH 15 BEDS FOR MEN PROVIDING SHELTER FROM NOVEMBER THROUGH MID-APRIL. BECAUSE OF COVID WE DID NOT RUN OUR SHELTER PROGRAM IN 2022. WE PROVIDE BAG LUNCHES AT NOON AND A HOT MEAL ONCE A WEEK. WE SUPPORT THE BORGNE FOUNDATION. THE BORGNE FOUNDATION IN HAITI IS A CATHOLIC WORKER HOUSE WHICH PROVIDES NOURISHMENT AND EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES TO BETWEEN 50 AND 75 IMPOVERISHED CHILDREN AND ELDERLY/DISABLED ADULTS.THIS PROGRAM IS ALSO SUPPORTED THROUGH CONTRIBUTIONS.
