THE MISSION OF THE MOCKINGBIRD FOUNDATION IS TO PROVIDE SUPPORT TO ORGANIZATIONS PROMOTING THE EDUCATION, INVOLVEMENT AND APPRECIATION OF MUSICAL ACTIVITIES FOR CHILDREN THROUGHOUT THE UNITED STATES.THIS SUPPORT IS PROVIDED THROUGH THE AWARDING OF GRANTS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. THESE GRANTS ARE NOT DISTRIBUTED TO ANY RELATED PARTIES EITHER DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY IN THE 2022 CALENDAR YEAR.

THE MOCKINGBIRD FOUNDATION PROVIDED GRANTS IN SUPPORTING THE EDUCATION, INVOLVEMENT, PARTICIPATION AND APPRECIATION OF MUSICAL ACTIVITIES FOR CHILDREN THROUGHOUT THE UNITED STATES.GRANTS WERE AWARDED TO TWENTY NINE WORTHY PUBLIC ORGANIZATIONS WHICH THEN WERE ABLE TO PURCHASE MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS, SUPPLIES AND INSTRUCTORS IN ORDER TO BENEFIT THE MANY LOCAL CHILDREN ACROSS THE COUNTRY DESIRING TO LEARN AND PARTICIPATE IN MUSICAL ACTIVITIES. TOTAL GRANTS ISSUED AND DISBURSED WERE $124,100.
