BROADWAY ROSE THEATRE COMPANY'S MISSION IS TO CREATE UNPARALLELED MUSICAL THEATER EXPERIENCES THAT INVIGORATE AUDIENCES AND ENRICH OUR COMMUNITIES. WE HAVE BEEN PRODUCING PROFESSIONAL, MUSICAL THEATER IN TIGARD, OR SINCE 1992. HAVING THRIVED AS A SUMMER STOCK THEATER FOR 17 YEARS WE SUCCESSFULLY TRANSITIONED TO YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMMING IN 2009 AFTER THE COMPLETION OF A 2 MILLION CAMPAIGN FOR OUR NEW STAGE THEATER RENOVATION. AS A RESULT OUR ATTENDANCE INCREASED BY 40% AND NOW TOPS 44,000 ANNUALLY. WE ARE THE LARGEST NON-PROFIT PROFESSIONAL MUSICAL THEATER COMPANY IN THE PORTLAND METRO AREA AND THE ONLY PROFESSIONAL MUSICAL THEATER COMPANY IN WASHINGTON COUNTY. OUR YEAR-ROUND SEASON INCLUDES SIX MAINSTAGE MUSICALS, TWO CHILDREN'S MUSICALS AND A TEEN MUSICAL. OUR YOUTH OUTREACH PROGRAMS INCLUDE STUDENT TECHNICAL INTERNSHIPS, YOUTH DRAMA CAMPS, FALL AND SPRING MUSICAL THEATER CLASSES AND A SUMMER MUSICAL THEATER WORKSHOP FOR TEENS, FREE SCHOOL PERFORMANCES FOR ELEMENTARY STUDENTS IN THE TIG
