TO ENHANCE THE DEVELOPMENT AND QUALITY OF LIFE FOR CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS IN WESTERN NEW YORK BY PROVIDING AN ACCREDITED THERAPEUTIC RIDING PROGRAM IN A SAFE AND NURTURING ENVIRONMENT.

Part 3 - Line 4a
TEACHING THERAPEUTIC HORSEBACK RIDING TO CHILDREN AGE 6-18 YEARS OLD WITH EMOTIONAL AND PHYSICAL DISABILITIES. IN 2021, THE BUFFALO THERAPEUTIC RIDING CENTER TAUGHT LESSONS BETWEEN THE MONTHS OF APRIL AND NOVEMBER. DURING THESE MONTHS APPROXIMATELY 444 LESSONS WERE TAUGHT.
HORSE SHOWS TO PROMOTE HORSEBACK RIDING. THERE WAS FOUR HORSE SHOWS IN 2021. BTRC SERIES HORSE SHOWS ARE TWO DAYS LONG WITH AN AVERAGE OF 180 PARTICIPANTS AND 100 SPECTATORS AT EACH SHOW. THERE WERE NO SPECTATORS IN 2021 DUE TO THE COVID-19 OUTBREAK.
