ORGANIZATION ASSISTS THE HORTICULTURE INDUSTRY IN ITS EFFORTS TO IMPROVE THE IMAGE AND PRESENCE IN WESTERN NEW YORK. THE FOUNDATION WORKS WITH THE MEMBERS OF OUR ASSOCIATION TO EDUCATE OURSELVES, THE PUBLIC AND STUDENTS.

PROVIDE SCHOLARSHIPS TO STUDENTS STUDYING IN THE FIELD OF HORTICULTURE AND ORNAMENTAL FLORACULTURE. SPONSOR OF ADVANCE YOUR KNOWLEDGE - A TWO DAY CONFERENCE OF SEMINARS AND A TRADE SHOW FOR THOSE WHO WORK IN THE GREEN INDUSTRY.
INCREASE OCCUPATIONAL AND PUBLIC AWARENESS OF THE OPPORTUNITIES AND BENEFITS OF HORTICULTURAL CAREERS.THROUGHOUT THE YEAR THE ORGANIZATION WILL PRODUCE VARIOUS TRADE SHOWS AND EDUCATIONAL EVENTS FOCUSING AROUND THE HORTICULTURE INDUSTRY. DURING THE YEAR ENDING 2020, MANY OF THE TRADE SHOWS AND EVENTS WERE CANCELLED OR REDUCED DUE TO THE COVID-19 HEALTH PANDEMIC.
