PRESERVATION - THE SOCIETY'S PRESERVATION WORK ENCOMPASSES ASSISTANCE WITH THE PREPARATION OF HISTORIC DESIGNATION APPLICATIONS, THE PRODUCTION OF IMPACT STUDIES, HISTORIC PRESERVATION REVIEW AND ASSESSMENT RESOURCES, CONSULTATION SERVICES AND OTHER COMMUNICATION AND RESOURCE PREPARATION TO AID PRESERVATIONISTS, PROPERTY OWNERS, DEVELOPERS AND GOVERNMENT ENTITIES IN THEIR INTERACTIONS WITH PRESERVATION ISSUES, DISTRICTS, PROJECTS AND PROPERTIES. THE DIRECT SERVICE AREA OF THE LANDMARK SOICETY INCLUDES THE NINE ADJACENT COUNTIES TO MONROE COUNTY, NEW YORK; ORLEANS, GENESEE, WYOMING, LIVINGSTON, ONTARIO, YATES, SENECA, AND WAYNE.
THE LANDMARK SOCIETY OF WESTERN NEW YORK HAS EVENTS AND TOURS TO SHOW AUDIENCES THE LANDMARK BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES THAT IS PRESERVES.
