SHELTERS OF SARATOGA RUNS A YEAR-ROUND EMERGENCY SHELTER PROGRAM FOR ADULTS WHICH PROVIDES SHELTER, FOOD, AND HOUSING ASSISTANCE. THE PROGRAM SERVES AN AVERAGE OF 125 PEOPLE EACH YEAR. SERVICES INCLUDE REFERRALS TO WELLNESS SUPPORT SERVICES, ASSISTANCE ACCESSING BENEFITS, EMPLOYMENT SEARCHES,DAILY LIVING SKILLS, AND RENTAL AND MOVING ASSISTANCE. ADDITIONALLY, THE ORGANIZATION OPERATES THE STATE-MANDATED WINTER EMERGENCY SHELTER FOR SARATOGA COUNTY WHICH PROVIDES OVERNIGHT SHELTER TO HOMELESS INDIVIDUALS WHEN TEMPERATURES DROP BELOW 32 DEGREES.
