CENTER FOR PROBLEM GAMBLING GRANT IS AN OASAS FUNDED GRANT FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH GAMBLING ADDICTION PROBLEMS., THIS IS A TREATMENT AND RECOVERY PROGRAM WHICH PROVIDES ASSESSMENT AND COUNSELING FOR INDIVIDUALS AND HAS GROUP THERAPY SESSIONS.
CAPITAL EMPLOYEES ASSISTANCE PROGRAM HAS APPROXIMATELY 100 CONTRACTS WITH LOCAL EMPLOYERS. WE OFFER 3 TO 5 INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING SESSIONS TO ALL EMPLOYEES AS WELL AS TRAINING WORKSHOPS FOR THE EMPLOYER. EXAMPLES OF IN HOUSE TRAINING WORKSHOPS COULD BE: SEXUAL HARRASMENT, WORK PLACE VIOLENCE, DEALING WITH DIFFICULT EMPLOYEES, STRESS MANAGEMENT, TIME MANAGEMENT, VALUING DIVERSITY AND WELLNESS CLASSES, TO NAME A FEW.
COUNSELING SERVICES ARE PROVIDED BY NYS LICENSED AND HIGHLY TRAINED PROFESSIONAL THERAPISTS. THEIR AREAS OF EXPERTISE COVER EVALUATION, ASSESSMENTS, COUNSELING AND RECOMMENDED THERAPIES TO ASSIST WITH A BROAD RANGE OF MENTAL, EMOTIONAL AND BEHAVIORAL ISSUES. SERVICES ARE PROVIDED TO INDIVIDUALS, FAMILIES, COUPLES, ADOLESCENTS AND CHILDREN.
