THE ORGANIZATION'S PRIMARY PURPOSE IS TO PROMOTE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT FOR THE REGION. REGIONAL PUBLIC RELATIONS AND PROMOTIONAL PROGRAMS ARE DEVELOPED AND IMPLEMENTED THROUGH PUBLICATIONS, RADIO AND TELEVISION, TRADE SHOWS, DIGITAL MARKETING AND OTHER METHODS TO ENCOURAGE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND TOURISM IN THE NORTH COUNTRY. THE CHAMBER PROVIDES ITS MEMBERS WITH ACCESS TO BUSINESS SUPPORT SERVICES SUCH AS REFERRALS, NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES, INSURANCE AND COUNSELORS. THE CHAMBER ALSO ADVOCATES FOR QUEBEC-NEW YORK CROSS-BORDER COMMERCE RELATIONS AND INVESTMENT IN THE NORTH COUNTRY.
