PROMOTE THE ORGANIZATION OF WORKERS, TO REPRESENT ITS MEMBERS WITH RESPECT TO ALL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT, TO UPHOLD AND EXTEND THE PRINCIPLES OF MERIT AND FITNESS IN EMPLOYMENT, AND TO ADVANCE THE INTERESTS OF ITS MEMBERS.
THE ASSOCIATION MAINTAINS AN INSURANCE FUND WHICH ADMINISTERS GROUP LIFE PLANS FOR INSURED MEMBERS. REIMBURSEMENT FROM THE INSURANCE COMPANY IS REQUIRED TO COVER ADMINISTRATIVE COSTS.
EDUCATING AND TRAINING MEMBERS AS UNION LEADERS AND PROVIDING THEM WITH JOB SKILL TRAINING.
