TO PROVIDE A MEANS FOR EFFECTIVE COOPERATION AMONG PEOPLE CONCERNED WITH DOCUMENTING AND PRESERVING ORAL HISTORY AND TO DISSEMINATE INFORMATION ABOUT ORAL HISTORY.

MEMBER SERVICES, INCLUDING PUBLICATIONS INCLUDING ORAL HISTORY REVIEW, HISTORY ASSOCIATION NEWLETTER, AND OTHER MEMBER COMMUNICATIONS. ORAL HISTORY REVIEW WAS MADE AVAILABLE TO OVER 1,225 MEMBERS OR POTENTIAL MEMBERS THROUGH PRINT AND ONLINE VERSIONS OF PUBLICATIONS. IN PROVIDING SERVICES THE ORGANIZATION UTILIZES IN KIND SERVICES AND FACILITIES PROVIDED THROUGH BAYLOR UNIVERSITY THROUGH A COST-SHARING GRANT WITH THE UNIVERSITY. THE ORGANIZATION HAS ALSO ALLOCATED IN KIND AMOUNTS FOR PROGRAM SERVICES NOT INCLUDED IN THIS FORM 990 IN THE AMOUNTS OF $59,230 AND $5,477 FOR CONTRIBUTED SALARIES AND USE OF FACILITIES, RESPECTIVELY.
